For non trivial solution \Delta =0

\begin{vmatrix} 1 & -c &-c \\ c&-1 &c \\ c& c &-1 \end{vmatrix}=1(1-c^{2})+c(-\epsilon -c^{2})-c(c^{2}+c)=0 

                             

=1-c^{2}-c^{2}-c^{3}-c^{3}-c^{2}=0

=-3c^{2}-2c^{3}+1=0

=(c+1)^2(c-\frac{1}{2})=0

c=-1,\frac{1}{2}\; \; \; \frac{1}{2}>-1

\frac{1}{2} \; is \; \; greatest

So \: C=\frac{1}{2}
