For point (1,2) value of \mathrm{t=1},
the value of \mathrm{\mathrm{t}_{2}} for other end of the normal is \mathrm{\mathrm{t}_{2}=-1-\frac{2}{1}=-3}.

So point is \mathrm{\left(\mathrm{at}^{2}, 2 a t\right)=(9,-6)}

Hence (B) is the correct answer.
