If (a^2-4a+3)x^2+(a^2-2a+1)x+(a^2-a)=0  is an identity in x, then the value of a are

For this to be an identity a^2-4a+3=0\Rightarrow (a-1)(a-3)=0\Rightarrow a=3

and a^2-2a+1=0\Rightarrow (a-1)^2=0\Rightarrow a=1

and a^2-a=0\Rightarrow a(a-1)=0\Rightarrow a=0,1

So for a=1, all are simultaneously zero so a = 1.
