 Given equation \mathrm{2 x^{2}+2 y^{2}+4 x+8 y+15=0}  can be written as

\mathrm{x^{2}+y^{2}+2 x+4 y=-\frac{15}{2}}
\mathrm{\text { or } \quad(x+1)^{2}+(y+2)^{2}=1^{2}+2^{2}-\frac{15}{2}=-\frac{5}{2}}

which is impossible, as left hand term is always positive term.
Hence (D) is the correct answer.
