\mathrm{Given\; \alpha=0.98\; and \frac{\mathrm{R}_{\text {out }}}{\mathrm{R}_{\text {in }}}=500}

\mathrm{\beta=\frac{\alpha}{1-\alpha}=\frac{0.98}{1-0.98}=49 }

\mathrm{\text { Voltage gain }=(\beta)\left(\frac{\mathrm{R}_{\text {out }}}{\mathrm{R}_{\text {in }}}\right)=(49)(500)=24500 }

\mathrm{\text { Power gain }=\left(\beta^2\right)\left(\frac{R_{\text {out }}}{R_{\text {in }}}\right)=(49)^2(500)=1200500 }
