The electric field due to an infinite line charge distribution at point \mathrm{p}.
\mathrm{\vec{E}_1=\frac{1}{2 \pi \epsilon_0} \frac{\lambda}{a}} and that is due to an infinite line charge distribution at point \mathrm{Q}
\mathrm{\bar{E}_2=\frac{1}{2 \pi \epsilon_0} \frac{\lambda}{a}}
Their ratio,
                \mathrm{E_1: E_2=\frac{\frac{1}{2 \pi \epsilon_0} \frac{\lambda}{a}}{\frac{1}{2 \pi \epsilon_0} \frac{\lambda}{a}}=\frac{1}{1} \Rightarrow 1: 1}
