Series Grouping -

 

In series grouping anode of one cell is connected to cathode of other cell

- wherein

 

 EMF=10V-4V=6V

R_{eq}= R+r_1+r_2= 6\Omega

I=1.\frac{6V}{6\Omega}= 1A
