tr + 1 = (–1)r 15Cr(x3)15 –r \left(\frac{1}{x^2}\right)^r = (–1)r 15Cr x45 –3r –2r

For term independent of x 45 –5r = 0 ⇒ r = 9

∴ term independent of x will be = –15C9 = –15C6

Hence (B) is the correct answer.
