As we learnt

 

For n identical resistance -

 

R_{eq}=nR

V'=\frac{V}{n}

-

 

 R_{eff}=nR=40\Omega

\therefore I= \frac{V}{nR}= 0.5A

P.D. across any resistor is V=IR=5V
