Number of squares -

In a rectangle of n\times P, number of squares of any size is \sum_{r=1}^{n}(n+1-r)(P+1-r)

Here, maximum size of the square can be 8 \times8 

so required no. of the square be

  \sum_{r=1}^{8}(16-r)(9-r)

 =\sum_{r=1}^{8}r^{2}-25r+144=456
