Happens when \left ( \mu -1 \right ) & \left ( \frac{1}{R_{1}}-\frac{1}{R_{2}} \right ) are of opposite sign.

 

 R1= -10cm        R2= 10cm

\mu=\frac{3}{2}

\frac{1}{f}=\left ( n_{rel-1} \right )\left ( \frac{1}{R_1}-\frac{1}{R_{2}} \right )=\left ( \frac{3}{2}-1 \right )\left ( \frac{1}{-10}-\frac{1}{10} \right )

f=-10cm
