\mathrm{(a, 0) \: and\: (0, b)} are the diametric end points of given circle.

So equation of circle is

\mathrm{ x(x-a)+y(y-b)=0 }

\mathrm{ \Rightarrow x^2+y^2-a x-b y=0}

Hence option 2 is correct.
