Let the distance AJ be y_{1} before shifting and y_{2} after shifting.

Before shifting: \frac{12}{y_{1}}=\frac{18}{100-y_{1}}\Rightarrow y_{1}=40 cm

After shifting: \frac{12}{y_{2}}=\frac{18}{100-y_{2}}\Rightarrow y_{2}=40 cm

\therefore Distance moved = 20 cm
