\mathrm{\frac{m v^2}{r} =q v B \\ }

\mathrm{\text { or } \quad r =\frac{m v}{q B} }

Frequency \mathrm{ =\frac{v}{2 \pi r}=\frac{v}{2 \pi} \times \frac{q B}{m v}=\frac{q B}{2 \pi m} }   which is independent of v, the speed of the charged particle. Hence the correct choice is (a).
