- wherein

n_{i} = Refractive index of medium of incident.

n_{r} = Refractive index of medium of refraction.

d = distance of object.

 

 

d= 2(1-\frac{1}{\mu })t=2(1-\frac{1}{1.5})(1.5)cm

= 1.0 cm

Therefore final image will be 1 cm above point p.
