Let the natural length be l and force constant is k\left(=\frac{4 A}{l}\right)

and l_1=l+\frac{T_1}{k} \quad\left(F=k \Delta l \text { or } \Delta l=\frac{F}{k}\right)

l_2=l+\frac{T_2}{k}

Solving these two above equations, we get

l=\frac{l_1 T_2-l_2 T_1}{T_2-T_1}
