Mean, m=\frac{4+5+6+6+7+8+x+y}{8}=6

Therefore, x+y\ =12 ---------- (1) 

And variance,

v=\frac{2^2+1^2+0^2+1^2+2^2+\left(x-6\right)^2+\left(y-6\right)^2}{8}

Or, \frac{9}{4}

Therefore, \left(x-6\right)^2+\left(y-6\right)^2=8 ---------- (2) 

From (1) and (2), we get:

x=4 and y=8

Therefore, 

x^4+y^4=320
