If \mathrm{P\left(x_1, y_1\right)} is a point on the parabola \mathrm{y^2=4 a x} and S is its focus, then \mathrm{S P=x_1+a}

Here  \mathrm{4 a=8 \Rightarrow a=2 ; S P=8}
