In the van der wads equation,
\mathrm{ \left(p+\frac{n^2 a}{v^2}\right)(v-n b)=n R T }
The additional factor in pressure, ie \mathrm{ \frac{n^2 a}{V^2} } correct for intermolecular force while b correct for molecular volume.
