We know that,

maximum intensity,I_{\text {max }}=\left(\sqrt{I_1}+\sqrt{I_2}\right)^2

minimum intensity, I_{\min }=\left(\sqrt{I_1}-\sqrt{I_2}\right)^2

So, the ratio of maximum and minimum intesnsity,

\frac{I_{\text {max }}}{I_{\text {min }}}=\frac{\sqrt{\left(I_1+\sqrt{I_2}\right)^2}}{\left(\sqrt{I_1}-\sqrt{I_2}\right)^2}

=\frac{(\sqrt{4 I}+\sqrt{I})^2}{(\sqrt{4 I}-\sqrt{I})^2}

=\frac{9I}{I}
