Two simple pendulum A and B are made to oscillate simultaneously and it is found that A completes 20 oscillations in 40 seconds, and B x oscillations in y seconds. The ratio of the length \frac{64}{25} . Find the value x and y.

\begin{aligned} & V_A=\frac{20}{40}=0.5 \mathrm{HZ} \quad V_B=\frac{x}{y} \\ & \therefore \frac{V_A}{V_B}=\sqrt{\frac{l_B}{l_A}} \\ & \frac{l_A}{l_B}=\frac{64}{25} \\ & \frac{V_A}{V_B}=\sqrt{\frac{25}{64}} \\ & \frac{V_A}{V_B}=\frac{5}{8} \\ & \frac{0.5}{V_B}=\frac{5}{8} \\ & V_B=\frac{8 \times 0.5}{V B}=\frac{8 \times 0.5}{5}=\frac{8 \times 5}{50}\\& V_B=\frac{8}{10} \end{aligned}

x = 8, y = 10

Or B Pendulum 8 oscillations in 10 sec.
