When \mathrm{SmN} reacts with \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}, it produces a metal hydroxide \mathrm{A} and gas with a strong odor \mathrm{B}. \mathrm{B} reacts with oxygen to give another gas \mathrm{C} which is very abundant in the atmosphere. What is A, B and C ?

Option: 1

\mathrm{A: \mathrm{Sm}(\mathrm{OH})_3 \quad B: \mathrm{NH}_3 \mathrm{C}: \mathrm{N}_2}

Option: 2

\mathrm{A}: \mathrm{Sm}_2 \mathrm{O}_3 \mathrm{~B}: \mathrm{NO}_2 \mathrm{C}: \mathrm{NO}

Option: 3

\mathrm{A: Sm}(\mathrm{OH})_3$ B: $\mathrm{NO}_2 \mathrm{C}: \mathrm{N}_2

Option: 4

\mathrm{A: \ }\mathrm{Sm}_2 \mathrm{O}_3$ B: $\mathrm{NH}_3 \mathrm{C}: \mathrm{NO}

SmN reacts with water to generate  \mathrm{Sm}(\mathrm{OH})_3 and \mathrm{NH}_3

\mathrm{SmN}+\mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O} \rightarrow \mathrm{Sm}(\mathrm{OH})_3+\mathrm{NH}_3

The Gas \mathrm{B} is ammonia which reacts with \mathrm{O}_2 to give water and nitrogen.

4 \mathrm{NH}_3+5 \mathrm{O}_2 \rightarrow 4 \mathrm{NO}+6 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}
