Differentiating both sides, we get. -

\begin{aligned} &\mathrm{ P d V+V d P=0 \Rightarrow P d V=-V d P \Rightarrow \frac{d V}{d P}=-\frac{V}{P}+} \\ &\mathrm{ \Rightarrow \frac{1}{P}=-\frac{d v / d P}{V}=\beta} \end{aligned}

since, \mathrm{\beta=\frac{1}{p}} : inverse relation results into rectangular hyperbola.
