Rate of a chemical reaction:
The rate of change of concentration with time of different chemical species taking part in a chemical reaction is known as rate of reaction w.r.t that species
Rate   \mathrm{ =\frac{\Delta C}{\Delta t}}
Here,
\mathrm{\Delta C=} Change in concentration of any species
\mathrm{\Delta t=}Time change corresponding to the concentration change
\mathrm{Unit of rate =\frac{\text { Unit of } \Delta C}{\text { Unit of } \Delta t}=\frac{\mathrm{mol}}{L . s}}.
