Given that sides of the triangle as 6, 8, 10

This is Pythagoras triplet, so the triangle is the right-angle triangle. with hypotenuse 10

semiperimeter, (s) = 1/2 (6 + 8 + 10) = 12

Area of triangle ABC = 1/2 (6\times8) =24

So, if the inradius of ABC is r

\\\mathrm{Area \;of\;\Delta ABC=r\times s}\\\\\mathrm{r=\frac{Area \;of\;\Delta ABC}{s}}

In radius = 24/12 = 2 units
