Draw OE perpendicular to AB and OF perpendicular to CD

Consider triangle OEP and OFP

∠ OEP = ∠ OFP  =90°

OP =OP (common)

∠ OPE = ∠ OPF  (Given)

? OEP ≅ ? OFP

This gives OE = OF

chords AB and CD are equidistant from the centre O

So, AB = CD
