Draw $y=x^{2}$ and $y=-x$ graphs

For $x< -1,-x< x^{2},$ so we have $y=-x$ graph.

For $-1\leq x< 0,-x> x^{2}$ , so we keep $y=x^{2}$ graph.

For $0\leq x,-x< x^{2}$ , so we keep $y=-x$ graph.
