We have
Initial volume(V_i ) = 6 L
Initial moles( n_i ) = 0.5 moles
Final moles( n_f ) = 0.5 + 0.25 = 0.75 moles

Now, according to Avogadro’s law, we have:

\\\mathrm{\frac{V_{i}}{n_{i}}\: =\: \frac{V_{f}}{n_{f}}}\\\\\mathrm{\frac{6}{0.5}\: =\: \frac{V_{f}}{0.75}}

Thus V_f=9L
