G=60 \Omega, I g=1 \mathrm{~A}, I=5 \mathrm{~A}

Let, S be the shunt resistance connected in parallel to galvanometer,

\begin{aligned} I_{g G} & =\left(I-I_{g}\right) \mathrm{S} \\ S & =\frac{I_{g} h}{I-I_{g}}=\frac{1}{5-1} \times 60=15 \Omega \end{aligned}
