Let us use the equation of motion                                                         S=ut+\frac{1}{2}at^{2}=(v-at)t+\frac{1}{2}at^{2}=vt-\frac{1}{2}at^{2}
Let us put the values

100=25\times5-\frac{1}{2}a\times5^{2}
a=2ms^^{-2}
therefore; the initial velocity(u) is given by

u=v-at=25-2*5=15ms^{-1}
