decrease in mass number =234-222
                                          =12
This is due to \alpha- particle only

\Rightarrow \text{No. of }\: \alpha \: \text{particle }\frac{12}{4}=3.
due to \alpha particle decrease in atomic number 3\times 2=6

Atomic number becomes 92-6=86 but it is 87, so one \beta particle is emitted also.
