An ideal voltmeter V is connected to a 20 \Omega resistor and a battery with emf  10\mathrm{~V} and internal resistance 0.5 \Omega as in figure.

The ratio of current in 20\Omega resistor with the voltage of the battery

Option: 1

\frac {2\Omega}{V}

Option: 2

\frac { 4\Omega}{V}

Option: 3

\frac { 0\Omega}{V}

Option: 4

\rightarrow Ideal voltmeter means infinite resistance

     So current through the 20 \Omega resistor is zero.

     \text { Ratio }=\frac{0 \Omega}{10 \mathrm{~V}}=\frac {0 \Omega}{V}
