Reducing Sugar -

They contain free aldehyde (-CHO) or Ketone (-C=O) group and are capable of reducing Fehling solution and Tollen's reagent.

 Those carbohydrates which reduces tollen's and fehling solution are called reducing sugar sucrose doors not reduces tollen's reagent.
