For n^{\text {th }} order reaction
\mathrm{t_{1/2}\alpha \left ( \left [ A \right ]_{0}\right ) ^{1-n}}
\mathrm{\frac{t_{1 / 2}}{[ A]_{0}^{1-n}}=\text { constant } }
\mathrm{t_{1 / 2} \propto(A)_{0}^{n-1}=\text { constant }\quad -(1)}

Given that \mathrm{t_{1 / 2} [A]_{0}^{2}=\text { constant }\quad -(2)}

from (1) & (2)

\mathrm{t_{1 / 2}(A)_{0}^{n-1}=t_{1 / 2}[A]_{0}^{2}}
\mathrm{[A]_{0}^{n-1}=(A)_{0}^{2}}
\mathrm{n-1=2 }
\mathrm{n=3 }
