Magnetic moment is \mathrm{\mu=\sqrt{n(n+2)}}, where n is no. of unpaired electron so more no. of unpaired electron means more magnetic moment. \mathrm{Na}^{+}has zero unpaired electron. \mathrm{\mathrm{Co}^{2+}} has 3 unpaired electrons. \mathrm{Cr}^{2+} has 4 unpaired electrons. \mathrm{\mathrm{Fe}^{3+}} has 5 unpaired electrons.
