Coagulation value is the minimum concentration of electrolyte in millimoles required to cause coagulation of one litre of colloidal solution.

For \mathrm{250 \mathrm{~mL} \rightarrow 2 \mathrm{~mL} \: of\: 1 \mathrm{MNa}_2 \mathrm{SO}_4}

No of millimales \mathrm{=2 \times 1}

No of millimales \mathrm{=2}

\mathrm{\therefore 2 \: millimoles \: for \: 250 \: \mathrm{~mL}}

For \mathrm{1000 \mathrm{~mL}(1 \mathrm{~L})=4 \times 2=8\: \mathrm{mmol}}

\mathrm{\therefore Coagulation\: Value =8}

Hence option 4 is correct.
