For the first order reaction \mathrm{A\rightarrow } products, the plot of \mathrm{ln\left ( \frac{\left [ A \right ]_t}{\left [ A \right ]_0} \right ) } vs time ,where \mathrm{\left [ A \right ]_0 } and \mathrm{\left [ A \right ]_t } refer to concentartion at time \mathrm{t=0} and \mathrm{t} respectively ,is

Option: 1

A straight line with a positive slope passing through origin

Option: 2

A straight line with a negative slope passing through origin

Option: 3

For a first order reaction:-

\mathrm{ t=\frac{2.303}{k} \log \frac{[A]_0}{[A]_t} }

              or

\mathrm{ t=\frac{2}{k} \ln \frac{[A]_0}{[A]_t} }

\mathrm{ t=-\frac{1}{k} \ln \frac{[A]_t}{[A]_0}\quad\quad y=-m x }    \mathrm{ \quad \ln \frac{[A] t}{[A]_0}=1-k t}

\mathrm{ \ln \frac{[A]_t}{[A]_0} }

Hence option 2 is correct.
