Potential energy in hydrogen atom , PE=\frac{-e^2}{r}

Kinetic energy in hydrogen atom, KE=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{-e^2}{r}

\therefore Total \:energy PE+KE=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{-e^2}{r}
