Anaerobic reputation is the type of respiration in which living organism survive n grow under absence of oxygen.
Organism that respire anaerobically called anaerobes. There are of three types,facutative,obligative,aerotolerant.
Facultative can survive in presence o absence of oxygen, Aerotolerant in absences of oxygen survive well but Obligative anaerobes are harmed in precense of oxygen.examples are bacterias and protozoans which use anaerobic respiration(glycolysis) like peptostreptococus,bacterides,clostridium,actinomyces,amoeba and others.

Surprised? You were taught in school that we need air to survive, and that’s largely true. But in times of high stressful activity, like sports or running a marathon, your muscles will switch over to anaerobic respiration because they can’t afford to wait for oxygen. So they will convert sugar into lactic acid, releasing the energy required. An accumulation of lactic acid ultimately causes tiredness and pain. When resting, the lactic acid produced by anaerobic respiration is converted to carbon dioxide.
