Yes renin and rennin are dfferent. Rennin or chymosin is a proteolytic enzyme that curdles milk by transforming caseinogen into insoluble casein. On the other hand, renin also called angiotensinogenase, is a aspartate protease family enzyme. It plays an important role in regulating the body's water balance and blood pressure level.
