As discussed in Introduction to Transcription & Transcription Unit -  

 

Transcription unit is the transcribed segment of DNA. When the transcription unit carries information of one gene, it is considered as monocistronic while a set of adjacent genes when transcribed as a unit called polycistronic. Hence, the correct option is (c).
