Particles will meet at the centre of the hexgon. But we can use a trick that particles will approach to other particle with a relative velocity.
$$ \begin{aligned} v & =v-v \cos 60^{\circ} \\ & =v-v / 2=v / 2 \end{aligned}                     
The distance to be moved =a
\therefore Required time t=\frac{a}{v / 2}=\frac{2 a}{v}
