         \text { Fraction undecayed, } \frac{\mathrm{N}}{\mathrm{N}_0}=1-\frac{7}{8}=\frac{1}{8}

         \therefore \frac{\mathrm{N}}{\mathrm{N}_0}=\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^{\mathrm{n}} \text { gives }

       \\ \left(\frac{1}{8}\right)=\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^{\mathrm{n}} \Rightarrow \mathrm{n}=3 \\ \frac{\mathrm{t}}{\mathrm{T}}=3 \Rightarrow \mathrm{T}=\frac{\mathrm{t}}{3}=\frac{15}{3}=\mathrm{min}=5 \mathrm{~min} .
