As we have already discussed in determining the inheritance pattern of autosomal dominant disorder: -

There are no carriers of autosomal dominant disorders. It appears in both the sexes with an equal frequency. The disease does not skip a generation. When one parent is affected and the other one is unaffected, one-half of the offspring will be affected by the autosomal dominant disease. Also , unaffected parents do not pass the disorder.
Hence, the correct option is (a).
