A careful observation will reveal that one end of each resistor is connected to A and the other end is connected to B
 Hence, the resistors are in parallel.

\mathrm{R}_{\mathrm{AB}}=\left(\frac{1}{\mathrm{R}}+\frac{1}{\mathrm{R}}+\frac{1}{\mathrm{R}}+\frac{1}{\mathrm{R}}+\frac{1}{\mathrm{R}}\right)^{-1}=\frac{\mathrm{R}}{5}
