  • The nuclear envelope, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes and vacuoles are the components of endomembrane system. 
  • Thus, with some modifications, this system is present in both the plant cell and animal cell. 
  • Mitochondria and plastids are not part of the endomembrane system.
