\mathrm{\because k=\frac{2.303}{t} \log \frac{\left[R_0\right]}{[R]}}

\mathrm{k=\frac{2.303}{1} \log \frac{1.6}{0.4}=2.303 \times 2 \times 0 .3010}

In second case, Remaing moles of \mathrm{R=1.8-1.35=0.45}
 

                      \mathrm{t=\log \frac{1.8}{0.45}}

                         \mathrm{t=1 \mathrm{hr}}
