By applying Kirchoff's loop law.

Let I be the current 

\begin{aligned} & 2 I+12-6+4 I=0 \\ & 6 I=-12+6=6 \\ & I=\frac{6}{6}=1 A . \end{aligned}

It means the direction of the current is the same as that we assume.

Hence, I=1A

$$ \begin{aligned} & V_{0}-12+1 \times 2=V_{p} \\ & V_{0}-V_{p}=12-2=10 \mathrm{~V} \\ & V_{0 p}=10 \mathrm{~V} \end{aligned}
