Assuming, mass of each spherical shell is 'm' and radius 'r' then

I_{\text {Total }}=\frac{2}{3} m r^2+\left(\frac{2}{3} m r^2+m(2 r)^2\right)

=\frac{4}{3} m r^2+4 m r^2=4 m r^2 \times \frac{4}{3}

=\frac{16}{3} m r^2 =\frac{16}{3} \times 1 \times 1^2 =\frac{16}{3} \mathrm{~kg}\mathrm{m}^2
