In autocatalysis, one of the product of a reaction behave as a catalyst for that reaction and increase the rate of the reaction. Example:

\mathrm{ \mathrm{CH}_3 \mathrm{COOC} \mathrm{H}_5(l)+\mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}(l) \rightarrow \mathrm{CH}_3 \mathrm{COOH}(\mathrm{aq})+\mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_5 \mathrm{OH}(\mathrm{aq}) }

In the given reaction, \mathrm{ \mathrm{CH}_3 \mathrm{COOH} } act as a catalyst for the reaction and increase the rate of reaction.

Hence option 2 is correct.
